Model: Phoenix 3.5 Designer: Satoshi Kamiya This model was folded from crease pattern. Bruh dunno when I'll reach this level I mean lots of his works are master class.
I bought some WIDE Kraft online (90cmx30m) and, depending how it behaves, intend to laminate 2 strips together to make a square nearly 2m x 2m as my first attempt of the whole model – no idea if that will be big enough, we shall see. I spent weeks trying to find a repeatable and clean folding process for the wings. I think Ill lay this model to rest and move on. balances the fiery character of the dragon with the grace of the Phoenix. I'm comfortable at the complex level but Kamiya is something else entirely.
